3) Case Study: Racial Profiling and Homelessness in Canada Handout
-Students will look at two case study’s addressing issues of racial profiling and policing in Canada and homelessness in Canada. Students will look at how human rights have been violated or protected in these Case studies and will answer questions for each case study.
4)Collage activity started in class and the rest is

- Students will create a mini-collage of images that demonstrate examples in which people in Canada are discriminated against or protected from the discrimination in terms of religion, gender, age, race, class, and ethnicity and any other Human rights discussed in class.
- Students will use their own personal experiences/opinions in relation to how this human right has been violated or protected.
- For each human right violation/protection students will indicate their reasoning for why they included this human right and which human right has been violated or protected in Canada.
- Students must include a minimum of 3 examples each of Human right violations and protection of Human rights in Canada.
- Use the video activity and Case Studies for reference.
